Abilities:

• Accelerated Healing -
  Wolverine has the ability to heal just about any wound that has been inflicted upon him. How fast he heals, depends on the wound. He is able to heal a gunshot wound within minutes, but stab wounds to the chest can take months. Due to this ability, it is very rare for him to get poisoned. Also, it takes a lot of alcohol to get him drunk. Also due to Wolverine's healing power, it provides him with an extended lifespan, as it slows the effects of the aging process. Even as old as he is, he still looking about 35 years old.
  
  
• Enhanced senses -
  Wolverine has enhanced senses, which allows him to see, hear, and smell much greater then a human. Wolverine can sense a person, and who they are, even when they are hidden.
  
  
• Retractable Claws -
  This power is his most noticeable power. He has 6 retractable claws, 3 in each arm, each about a foot long. Wolverine is able to slide the claws out at any time, and is even able to let out as many as he wants. As in, let out two on one arm, 3 on the other. His claws are extremely sharp and strong, and can cut through almost anything.

Ability Limits:

• Accelerated Healing - Even though Wolverine can heal just about any wound, he cannot heal them all. He also heals, not regrows. So if his head was cut off, that would be the end of him. Also, some injuries can be just too severe for him to heal.
  
  
• Enhanced senses - Wolverine's senses can come in handy, especially for tracking people, but they don't do any good in populated areas, as his senses can be sensitive. If someone screams, it will hurt his ears. Also if there is even the slightest bad odor in the room, Wolverine will be able to smell it.
  
  
• Retractable Claws - As good as the claws seem, there is still a downside about it. When the claws slide out of his skin, they tear the skin apart. But due to Wolverine's accelerated healing, they quickly heal. Also, in order for him to extend the claws, he needs to keep his wrist straight so they can come out. Once they are out, he is able to move his hands around.

GENERAL APPEARANCE---
Wolverine is pretty tall, being 5 feet 8 inches. He has dark brown hair that could be considered black. He has dark brown eyes that adds to his 'dark and mysterious' look. He keeps his hair pretty short but never really combs it. He doesn't shave too often, but keeps his sideburns neat. He doesn't really care much about what he looks like, as he fights often and fighting doesn't require people to look good. He is well built and very strong.

Along with his somewhat normal appearance Wolverine also has animal like mutations that are noticeable. He has two canine teeth that are noticeable only when he shows his teeth which is only when he growls, which is common, or when he smiles, which is rare. He also has six retractable claws housed within his forearms, which he can release from behind his knuckles. They do bleed, but Wolverine's healing ability quickly heals it. He also has an adamantium skeleton weighing about 100 pounds. But that isn't something somebody sees.

Wardrobe:Wolverine isn't the type of person that spends hours wondering what to wear. His wardrobe consists of white beaters, t-shirts, jeans, a leather jacket, and a pair of boots. He isn't much for lighter colors except for the white beaters. He has either dark blue or black jeans, black boots, and a dark brown jacket.

GENERAL PERSONALITY---
Wolverine has a pretty rough personality. When out on the streets he likes to walk around looking like he owns them. Mostly to intimidate any criminals lurking around, but just because he wants to. Most of the time he acts as if he doesn't care about anyone or anything, but in fact he is actually very loyal to people. Especially anyone he cares about.

Wolverine can have a pretty bad attitude that comes with sarcastic comments. He is pretty argumentative and arrogant, but is like that mostly to people he doesn't like. Wolverine does like to fight, but you'd have to insult him, or throw the first punch for him to fight back. Wolverine can be pretty territorial sometimes especially against the brotherhood or somebody he doesn't trust being around his areas, or 'his people'.

Wolverine is pretty much a bad ass, liking Booze, Cigars, and Sex. He does swear a lot, but mostly when he is pissed, which is most of the time. Wolverine tends to think highly of his powers, mostly his adamantite claws. They do come in handy. His has some annoying weaknesses though. One, being since he has Adamantite, don't ask him to swim. Cause he can't. The Adamantite is so heavy Wolverine will just sink in the water. Also, anything like magnets, or metal detectors annoy him very much. They seem to be attracted to his Adamantite skeleton. Wolverine is also very susceptible to mental attacks. Wolverine being both a man, and having animal insticts, does like the women.

Wolverine has a pretty short temper. If somebody insults him, he tends to want to defend himself. If he gets extremely pissed, he will go into a berserker rage which usually results in somebody dying. He cannot control these rages, so it's best not to piss him off too much.

GENERAL HISTORY---

Wolverine doesn't remember much of his past, he remembers bits and pieces of it, and some things may trigger some memories.

What he doesn't remember
Wolverine was born to Elizabeth Howlett and John Howlett Jr., owners of a large estate. His name was James Howlett. He was a very weak kid, with severe allergies. He had only two friends, Rose, and another friend nicknamed, Dog, who was the groundskeeper's son. Both Dog and his father weren't in their right mind. One day the groundskeeper, Thomas Logan, tried taking Wolveirne's mother away [who was thought to have been close to him at one time]. Wolverine's father tried to stop him, and Thomas ended up shooting him. Wolverine's mother killed herself soon after. That was Wolverine's first sign of his power as claws came out of the back of his hands, and he attacked Thomas, killing him, and injuring dog. After that Wolverine ran off, taking the name 'Logan' with him.

Wolverine has been around during World war 1, and 2. He has met many people, and done many things. He has learned many languages, and many combat skills. He has grown an extreme amount since he was a kid. He turned out to be a strong, intelligent man. He has learned not to take crap from anybody.

"During the 1980s, he was placed on a government Black Ops team with Sabretooth, Maverick, Kestrel, Mastodon, and Silver Fox. The group, Team X, was apparently disbanded after a botched mission concerning Omega Red. During their time with the group, Logan and the others had their memories tampered with in order for them to better controlled. This is why Logan would suffer from amnesia (with the exception of false memories) for many years to come."

What he remembers
Wolverine does remember some things, like that he had been tested on, lost his memory on a lot of things, and has had his skeleton bonded with Adamantite. His powers have grown a lot with the testing that was done to him. He knows one of his worst enemies is Sabertooth, who he battles with everytime they see each other. Wolverine joined the Xmen, and has been with them ever since. He has a tenancy to wander away from them, and be alone, as he is a loner. He always comes back to them though.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE---

Darkness, cool darkness. Some light from the moon, big dark shadows. Nighttime was the perfect time. Most people were afraid of the dark as they obviously couldn't see. But there were the stalkers, murderers, perverts and more that loved the night. Wolverine was neither of them, yet nighttime was his favorite time. Mostly because he could walk around, claws out, and even naked if he wanted to. But he preferred to have clothes on. It was also a time where there were very little people out. Wolverine didn't like people much, and he hated large crowds. He hated going into any type of building with more then 10 people or so in it, especially one that sold items like clothes, food, etc. But he wasn't thinking of any of that at the moment as he walked around looking like he owned the place.

He wore his usual jeans, a t-shirt and his brown leather jacket. He also wore a pair of boots that looked like they were trash, but he really didn't care. It wasn't a beauty pageant. His hair was messy as always, and he had a angry expression as always. As he walked he listened around him. He had very good hearing, which was useful when he was walking at nighttime. He was able to hear everything that happened around him clearly.

A scream came from somewhere around him, and Wolverine stopped in mid-step. It was just the sort of thing he was looking for. A woman was screaming for help, and Wolverine pinpointed it to being on his left a little ways into an alley. He extended his claws, and began running towards where the sounds were coming from. Wolverine stopped when he got near, and he crept into the shadows. He watched for a moment as a couple men were ganging up on an older women. 'Now what can an old women like her being doing in a place like this at night?' Wolverine wondered to himself, but just shook his head and ignored it as it didn't matter what she had been doing, but what was happening then. One of the men grabbed her purse, as the other one started hitting her. They didn't stop when they had all her money, they wanted more.

About the time one of them got on top of her, was when Wolverine decided to step in. "Now what do you two think your doing?" Wolverine said, as he snarled at them. He kept his hands by his side as he waited for the mens reaction. One of the men stood up in front of Wolverine, as if trying to intimidate him. The other one backed the first one up. "You wanna fight old man?" The first guy said. Wolverine had to laugh at that, as he knew even the both of them didn't stand a chance. He then grabbed the man in front of him by the shirt with his left hand, and pushed him up against a wall. He put his right handed claws up to the man's throat. "Yes. As a matter of fact, I DO want to fight" Wolverine said, laughing as he tossed the man aside.

He looked around for the other guy, and happened to see him taking off, with the first one behind him. Wolverine let out a loud laugh. "I love this" He said. He then looked at the woman who was still sitting in a ball on the floor. "You gonna get up anytime soon?" he asked. The woman scowled at him as she got up, brushed herself off, then grabbed her purse. "I had it under control. I don't need any.. filth like you rescuing me." She said as she stormed off. Wolverine just stared at her. "Your welcome!" He yelled to her. He then turned and started heading back to where he had been before he heard the screams. 'That's what I get for helping out. Great' he thought to himself.

He continued walking along when a car came out of nowhere and landed on top of him. If didn't kill him, but it hurt like hell. "What the fuck?" Wolverine yelled when he was finally able to lift the car off of him. With a loud grunt, he tossed it aside, and looked around quickly trying to find what had thrown it. A few feet away he saw a boy just standing there. He could smell him now, but hadn't before. He figured he had been too focused on the ungrateful woman that he didn't even notice the boy. Wolverine ran up to him. He then looked over to see a van, with several men that had obviously came from the van standing near it. What was more noticeable was the guns they carried. And one of them even had a syringe. Wolverine automatically knew they were trouble. They even smelled like trouble. "Get out of here!" Wolverine yelled at the boy as he pushed him. Wolverine's claws had slid back into his hands when he had saved the women, so he extended them again. "First an old lady is picked on. Now a little boy?" Wolverine said as he snarled at the men. The guns and even the syringe didn't scare him. It seemed they weren't afraid of Wolverine either as they started walking towards him. Wolverine put his clawed hands in front of him, ready for a fight. The man with the syringe unexpectedly leaped at Wolverine, knocking him to the ground. He was about to stick the needle into Wolverine, but Wolverine wouldn't let him. He slashed the man in the face doing a lot of damage, then kicked him off. He didn't even pay attention to the needle as it flew into the air. Instead he was too busy with another one of the men as he started shooting at Wolverine. Wolverine ran for cover, doing some rolls, and even a fancy flip behind a big trash can. He then thought about what to do as the men got closer to him.
